Stephen Starke was bitten on the hand by a snake after he’d grabbed the reptile by the tail. He received medical attention and is out of danger.

I posted this last year but, for want of a new thingie AND to emphasise the wrigglers are about, I'm trotting it out again with a pic of a whopping great brown that was sighted in mid-October.
