January 13 Dashed postal dreams in Orville

Mr James Cherry’s post office store at Orville with the Post Office and the bank office of the Union Bank were completely destroyed by fire.

Jane -- I just heard on our news in the US that the town of Dunolly in Australia has had a terrible fire burning 90 homes. I believe this is the place where you are partially living? If so I wish you well and be safe. What a devastating event. -- barbara

Thanks, Barbara, but it's actually Dunalley in Tasmania that experienced the dreadful fires.
Our thoughts are with them all xxx
