DUNOLLY SOCIAL CYCLISTS

Our last ride was on a beautiful cool, sunny morning which saw the usual group riding to Waanyarra’s old cemetery, then Morton’s Pub with morning tea at the ‘Cyclists Rest Area’; the food and drink supplied and transported by Glynis and Brian.
Thanks friends.
We then returned to Dunolly via Murderers Hill, which Glynis climbed without stopping. Great effort!
To explore the rest of the Waanyarra area is on the ‘to do’ list.

Our next ride on Sunday 30 August will start from outside the Victorian Theatre, Tarnagulla at 9.30am; ride to Newbridge, morning tea at the general store, then return to Tarna.

Some dates to be pencilled in your diary:
1. We have received an invitation from the Geelong club to join them in a weekend exploration of the Goldfields area on the first weekend of October.
More info as it comes to hand.

2. Sunday 11 October celebrates our 1st anniversary of DSC, and also the 120th year of the formation of the Dunolly Bicycle Club in 1894. Both these events happened at the Red Lion Hotel, the current home of Anna and Philip Ashton.
You will be notified of planned activities shortly.
