The Central Goldfields Sustainability Group will be visiting an energy efficient house in Lexton, on Saturday 22 August, between 2.00pm – 4.00pm, to see some innovative ways to improve the energy efficiency of our homes.
In Victoria a six star rating is the bench mark for new residential buildings, this house achieves a nine star rating. The energy efficient principles built into the house mean a comfortable temperature is possible in most weather conditions with no extra heating or cooling.
This is a wonderful opportunity to see how we might improve the energy efficiency of our homes.
Anyone interested in attending can meet at the Hub Maryborough at 1.15pm, to car pool and travel to 147 Rifle Range Road Lexton or they
can check the Goldfields Sustainability website to confirm travel details and a map.
