The Court Session May 22nd, 2016

An afternoon with writer Gideon Haigh in the historic Dunolly Court House. Gideon Haigh’s intriguing book, Certain Admissions, tells the story of the scandalous 1959 murder trial in Melbourne of the dashing but erratic John Kerr.  Filling in the gaps in private and public records, this engaging writer leads us to a surprising conclusion that tells us much about the relationship between public opinion and law enforcement.
