Larrikin Theatre and Regional Arts Victoria
There’s more to land than real estate. There’s more to family than DNA!

Jane Clifton leads a stellar cast to tell a story about family, loyalty and property prices in regional Australia. A family block, worthless for generations is suddenly re-zoned as part of a regional housing estate. Written with wit and in crackling Australian idiom by award winning playwright Felix Nobis, this is a fast paced, funny and highly satisfying piece of theatre about life beyond the big city.

The Court Session May 22nd, 2016

An afternoon with writer Gideon Haigh in the historic Dunolly Court House. Gideon Haigh’s intriguing book, Certain Admissions, tells the story of the scandalous 1959 murder trial in Melbourne of the dashing but erratic John Kerr. Filling in the gaps in private and public records, this engaging writer leads us to a surprising conclusion that tells us much about the relationship between public opinion and law enforcement.
