December 7 On This Day (Nganko Nyawiyu) in Dunolly (Lea Kurribur) History

1908 John Gourley was admitted to Dunolly hospital after having been thrown by his horse and injuring his thigh.

 1936 A new rush started at the old Poseidon field after gold up to 1dwt was recently found, a 700 acre paddock was pegged out.

 1940 The Age reported on the discovery of a very few remnants of Dunolly history in the paper sent to be pulped for the war effort and how we may have inadvertently lost most of our pioneer history.
